It’s interesting to compare the terms “Disabled” and “Disability” too. The term “disabled” makes a conclusive statement about a persons’s abilities, while the term “disability” implies the person has some additional obstacles. Just because someone has a disability doesn’t mean they are not able to achieve, it just means they might struggle more than someone who has no disability. Labelling someone with a disability as being “disabled” makes a negative and baseless conclusion about their abilities without any assessment.

The use of “Handicapped” was earlier discouraged as it is derogatory because it alludes to begging, being derived from “cap-in-hand”.

Also, they did indeed change the listener settings page to remove external streaming outside of their crapware. Use the script, show them we won’t settle!

There is a sweet greasemonkey script that grabs the URLs. It just got updated and I tested that it works on the latest live365.

I do not think it is possible to play a live365 station on itunes anymore all of your directions no longer work. Some of the items you as to click on are no longer available. I think you should revisit this one please.

Hi James.

Yes I still use Evernote/Everpress but only for quick text. I found the image conversion less than satisfactory.

I agree, MS LiveWriter would be the best blog offline writer app I’ve seen. I use a Mac most of the time and use MarsEdit.

Interesting. Are you still using evernote for your blog postings? I personally LOVE Microsoft’s Windows Live writer, but I can see how it would be handy to use evernote. I keep notes and what not there, so it does make sense.

No, This is telstra’s way of cutting their losses on unmetered data. Especially the rumours that floated around people who were on Second Life were not getting charged for data usage at all, kept falling in the unmetered data

Dan, try following the link in here (http://www.live365.com/help/listen/mac/itunes.html), seems that itunes option is not accessible from the Settings page anymore… just make sure that your are signed in before doing so… kind of weird isn’t it?

I formerly was able to use iTunes but now the option for iTunes has disappeared. The help sections indicates that non-VIP members might have to use the embedded Flash or Windows Media Player, which leads me to believe that this the problem. I am not a VIP. Kind of a bummer.

Great work, I was hoping it would solve my problem: listening to what I find interesting on live365 on my stand-alone radio. Failed again. It seems the *Additional Options` box has been removed from the live365 site (or is it that i’m not a VIP?) so I can’t open it in iTunes and grab the URL from there. Why are they making this so hard?? And, on a side note, who are they?
Anyway, nice try gentleman, keep it up.

Great idea, think I will try it out. Its the images transfer that is important for me. Copying and pasting into WordPress will be quick enough, but its the uploading of images that annoys me. Dropping them into Evernote, then passing them to WordPress would be a dream. Will try it out.

Hi there.

No, I stopped using the wp-o-matic method via evernote since finding everpress. Didn’t like what evernote did with images.

I use wp-o-matic on other rss feeds, but none usually that long.

Could be a wp-o-matic limit?

Great tip! I’ve been trying to get EverPress to work for me, but your other option of using wp-o-matic is much simpler. One problem that I’ve ran into is that my Evernote entries tend to be over 300 words, but only ~300 words transfer through to my blog. I believe this is something to do with Evernote. Have you ran into this same problem?
