As my ‘about me’ page says, I used to be a mechanic.

Before that I worked on a farm after leaving school. Back then I used to occassionally drive a variety of old, ancient Massey Fergusson, International Harvester or Fordson tractors. All open. Come rail, hain, sh*t or thunder. Anyway, they were all pains to start and we were always running the cans of Aerostart empty. One day the cans were all empty and being this farm was ‘old-school’ the boss wandered out with a bottle of liquid Ether, took of the lid and poured a cap full down the intake.

Well I was at my Sister’s place a while back and there in my Brother-in-laws shed was a can of the modern equivalent. I just kacked myself when I saw what it’s called nowdays ….
